Acceptable Usage Policy

CrestCloud strictly prohibits the following activities on any of our services:

• Illegal activities including fraud, hacking, and unauthorized access
• Sending spam, phishing emails, or malicious content
• Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful software
• DDoS attacks or any network-based attacks
• Copyright infringement or intellectual property violations
• Hosting or distributing illegal content
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation
• Harassment, threats, or hate speech
• Narcotics trafficking or illegal substances
• Counterfeit products or fraudulent goods

2. Resource Usage

Users must not:

• Consume excessive CPU, memory, or disk resources
• Run cryptocurrency mining operations
• Use the server as a proxy or VPN service
• Conduct port scanning or network reconnaissance
• Generate excessive outbound traffic
• Run unattended applications that consume resources

3. Email Policies

Email services must comply with anti-spam standards:

• No unsolicited bulk email (spam)
• Proper SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration required
• Honor unsubscribe requests within 10 days
• No email spoofing or header forgery
• Compliance with CAN-SPAM Act and equivalent regulations

4. Content Restrictions

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these policies. This includes content that:

• Promotes violence or illegal activities
• Contains threats or harassment
• Exploits minors
• Violates third-party rights
• Is obscene or graphically violent

5. Enforcement

Violations of this policy will result in:

• Warning notice for first violations
• Service suspension for serious violations
• Immediate termination for illegal activities
• Cooperation with law enforcement when required
• Legal action if necessary

6. Reporting Violations

If you discover a violation of this policy, please report it to abuse@crestcloud.io. Include relevant details and evidence. We will investigate and respond within 24 hours.

7. Modifications

CrestCloud reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of changes.
